Room 4 Kindy Blue

Term 1 ends next week and Week 8 consists of a regular Monday for the children- 830:305. Mrs Stone will be teaching with Mrs Chaplyn until 12pm and then Mrs Cilfone will take over while Mrs Stone conducts parent interviews. The children will have their last day for Term 1 on Wednesday with Mrs Cilfone and Mrs Chaplyn celebrating with an optional Subway lunch.  As Term One comes to an end, we would like to congratulate the children and their families on a wonderful start to the school year. The children have come a long way in such a short period of time. Please continue to support your child through home practise in the holidays.  On Thursday we investigated the sense of touch! Ice- cold, hard, smooth, slippery  Rainbow rice- bumpy, rough, hard Cooked noodles- slimy, squishy, warm, stretchy, soft Sand- hard grains but soft as a whole, gritty, bumpy

Our buddy class visited us to celebrate Harmony Day. Together we traced, cut and painted our handprints we are going to put these around our map of the world.

Senses- smelling! Smelly flowers... Counting chickens! Nannas in the nursey! N, n, n, n!  Birds in the nest! N, n, n, n!

Thank you all to the huge efforts in organising a special Pp dress up for the children to wear last Thursday!  All of the children looked Pppperfect!!
